The 1925 Ingersoll Ran55hp Oil Engine Fired Up Today
The last of its kind, it came back to life after several years of the Donovan Mill volunteers completely disassembling it and putting it back together. Goldsworthy brothers, Jeff and Jim, were successful in starting the oil engine. Donovan Mill volunteers are an amazing team bringing this project together. The project was begun with 'first on site' volunteers, John Ollson, and Mark Perkins.

Mark Perkins – We lost one of our main volunteers on December 7th
We lost one of our main volunteers on December 7th. Mark Perkins was a most excellent welder, machinist and a huge asset to our work at the Donovan Mill. Our Tuesday volunteer work crew is saddened with news of his passing. We are proud of Mark's work with us at the Donovan Mill.

Schedule a guided tour with our docents, take part in living history talks and walk throughs. Visit the gift shop, find an interest in blacksmithing, or learn about other important historic technologies...
