A tour of the Donovan Mill on June 21st at about 4pm was held for the Board of Directors of the Carson Water Subconservancy District (CWSD). The Board is made up of County Commissioners from Alpine, Douglas, Carson City, Lyon County, Churchill County, and Storey Counties and a few of the At Large members. The tour was given by Lee Burnell who shared the history of the site, years of restoration, and personal insights into the various individuals who operated the three different mills at this Silver City location. The final mill being the Donovan Mill.
